We are proud to offer one of the most diverse lineups of any event in Illinois, and easily the largest in the central Illinois area. Two main stages, two side stages, and an acoustic stage placed on the south steps of the historic Old State Capitol.

***PAYMENT***
Each year we donate ALL proceeds of the festival to 10 local charities. Bands/Artists have always donated their time for this festival. Including our predecessor festival, SOHO, that operated 12 years prior to us. In 2021, we tried to pay bands, although it wasn't much between 66 acts. However, it cut into our donation to charities as well as our reserve that we save each year for the next years festival. Post pandemic has not been kind to us. Between low attendance, loss of a large sponsor due to COVID concerns and an increase in expenses, we were unable to pay our bands for 2022. With that said, we will not be making payments to Bands/Artists in the future as it currently stands. This is subject to change.
What we offer:

Opportunity to perform in front of Springfield's largest crowds on one of five stages (including around and/or on the steps of the historic Old State Capitol)

Professional sound and lighting, including two fully dressed SL-100 main stages

Cross-promotion in print and social media, including an exclusive spotlight post.

Complimentary admission for all performing artists for the weekend

Complimentary meal and beverage tickets for performing artists (on day of performance)

Hotel accommodations for acts traveling greater than 90 miles (discounted rates for local acts)
What we need:
Dozens of musical acts interested in offering their performances across June 7th & 8th, 2024 in downtown Springfield, potentially rain or shine.
Performing artists willing to arrive, set up, and perform within their arranged times in order to not cut into other performer's time slots.
Reasonable follow-up (timely responses) with our Stage Director
Cross-promotion of the official LoG Event (DO NOT create your own event) on Facebook and other media
Volunteers - if you know any, send them our way! Performers are our most valuable volunteers, however- without you, there's no music festival!
