Vendors & Food
Proud to bring together artisans and vendors from across the region
Old State Capitol Grounds, downtown Springfield IL - June 3 & 4 , 2022, rain or shine
Vendor fee is $50 per 10x10 space ($100 for 10x20, etc). There are outlets around the OSC grounds (we work with the OSC on ensuring they are checked two weeks prior). Vendors will need to supply everything they will need, including extension cords, tents, tables, etc. Tables MAY be available for rental, but we cannot guarantee that right away. Tents MAY also be available for rental upon coordination with our tent supplier.
Event starts at 5pm Friday but setup can be anytime in the afternoon (you can sell early if you'd like). We will close the Old State Cap area by 10pm and the gates will be locked. Tents can be left up overnight but we recommend any products or things you don't want walking away to be taken with you.
Saturday the festival officially starts at 12pm, but Old State Cap site opens at 8:30 and we may open the vendor fair as early as 9am- there is a Farmer's Market right across the street and we're working with them to move even closer to us for the day. Again on Saturday, the OSC grounds will wrap up by 10pm and we ask that vendors don't break down earlier than 8:30 pm. We will not rush vendors out of the area whatsoever. Vendors are responsible for their own setup and breakdown, but if we have a surplus of volunteers we MIGHT be able to assist you.
Tent stakes cannot be used, but we suggest weights or 5 gallon buckets that can be filled with water to hold tents down (taps are available on-site).
We also suggest carts for your load in/out, as the vehicle spots may not be immediately next to the nearest OSC gate. The earlier you arrive on Friday, the easier access you will have. DO NOT bring your vehicle into the festival grounds for set up, there is no room between the semi beer truck, food trucks, semi's unloading stages and bounce houses. Unloading instructions will be sent to you.
Vendors will receive 2 free admission tickets to the festival per day, which is normally $5 per person ($20 value).
The OSC grounds will be free and open to the public the whole time, and we will also have plans for an acoustic stage and additional "sports" activities within the OSC grounds - including a bocce ball tourney, a bags tourney, and more activities including a human "hungry hungry hippo" tournament. The festival will also have a free kids area, and our complimentary face painters and balloon artists will be within the OSC grounds to lure families and visitors into the area.
We are marketing the vendor fair in conjunction with the festival, and there will be dedicated marketing just for the vendors.
We will need to know what you intend to sell as we cannot allow food prepared on-site or duplicate vendors of the exact same products. Upon confirmation of your application, we will send you a registration link that will allow you to confirm all necessary details and pay quickly and easily.
